Year 1 cohorts are offered in a variety of locations starting in the fall semester. With the course work offered within a district or at another geographically convenient location, this accelerated one-year program provides multiple leadership development opportunities.

Bay Area school districts collaborate with the Department of Educational Leadership in the College of Education and Allied Studies at Cal State 六合彩图库大全 to further develop the capacity of their employees to better serve students. Our program consists of a field-based academic program leading to a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC) in two semesters. With the coursework offered within a district or at another geographically convenient location, this one-year program provides multiple leadership development opportunities. Students have the option of continuing for a second year to complete a Masters in Educational Leadership.

Program Features

  • Complete coursework for PASC in just two semesters
  • Individualized coaching from a veteran educational leader
  • Option to continue in MS and/or Clear Induction Administrative
  • Services Credential Program for new administrators
  • One synchronous class and two asynchronous online classes each semester, or six courses altogether.

HOW TO APPLY TO THE PROGRAM

To be considered for admission, applicants must submit two applications, one to the Department of Educational Leadership from this webpage and one to the University through Cal State 六合彩图库大全. The University Application filing period for Fall 2024 is October 1, 2023, through June 15, 2024. The Department Application opens October 15-June 15, 2024

TWO-STEP APPLICATION PROCESS

      Opens October 15-June 15, 2024. Submit the non-refundable $25 .

    2. First Application Review: March 1, 2024. Applicants who submit the Department Application by this date will be given priority preference for their cohort choice--Hayward or Concord.

    3. Upload the following required documents as part of your application:

      1. A current clear California teaching or services credential. Print this from the CTC website.

      2. Verification of Experience Form, verifying a minimum of five years full-time K-12 teaching or service experience under a credential. The form must be signed by a district-level human resources representative or a credential official.

      3. Three Recommendation Forms; at least one from an administrator

      4. Statement of Purpose

      5. Current resume
